Woodmuir Primary School is co-educational, non-denominational and takes pupils from P1-P7 (from approximately age five to twelve).  It is situated towards the south-east side of the village of Breich in Woodmuir Place.

Our current building comprises two classrooms, a meeting room, shared communal area, small multipurpose hall/dining hall, admin office, staffroom and Head Teacher's office.  Our communal area is used as a breakout teaching area for supporting learning and for enterprise education.

There is accommodation for 50 pupils in two multi-composite classes with a maximum capacity of twenty-five pupils in each class.

The building is six years old and very modern, we have a hard surfaced play area and a MUGA (Multi Use Games Arena) with an open outlook towards the wooded area known as Woodmuir and the old coal mine.
