Today we made beautiful Christmas cards to take home to our families. We also had a fantastic Nativity rehearsal this morning and we can't wait to showcase this next week. We hope everyone has a festive and fun weekend.

Today we all enjoyed our school Christmas lunch and it was delicious. As always the staff went above and beyond to make it a special afternoon for everyone with Christmas music, crackers and yummy desserts.

Last week we finally revealed our new school vision, to our parents and community at Woodmuir PS. After our assembly rehearsal this morning, we worked on our individual profiles ready for our showcase this afternoon. We are taking a great deal of care with these project books to get them ready for our grown ups and we are very excited to hear about the competition!

Today we have had a very creative time decorating our snowmen for the windows in Tesco and updating our Golden vision books. We can't wait to share our learning with our grown ups at our Curriculum Cafe tomorrow and we hope you can all join us in the afternoon.

Today we all had wonderful trip to the Lady Victoria Colliery. We walked through two floors of exhibitions, interactive, tours and had the opportunity to retrace the footsteps of thousands of miners and their families.
