Line of Reflective Symmetry

We are working in partnership with University of Glasgow to implement MathsBURST in our classroom. Today we were learning to define reflective symmetry, complete reflections of given 2D shapes and reflect 2D shapes over horizontal axes. We all enjoyed using the mirrors to visualise, predict and check. We are also going to use this strategy and apply it in our project based learning to draw famous landmarks found in our chosen country.
